25TH JULY - PRINTING MATISSE MANIA DAY

Screen Printing - Heat Transfer - Collage - Drawing - Painting
A vibrant, creative and fun art workshop. Taking inspiration from the colourful and expressive style of Henri Matisse. Your child will learn the basics of screen printing to create their own unique printed artwork, exploring the power of color, pattern, and texture in their prints. They will learn how to use heat transfer paints to transform a tote bag with their own design to take home. We will also be looking at colour, shape and composition through the art of collage, just as Matisse did in his own artwork. This session is designed to give children creative freedom to express themselves and explore new and exciting mediums of art.

1ST AUG - URBAN STREET ART DAY

Sketching - Mono Printing - Graphics - Collage - Painting
Children will delve into the world of urban street art and be inspired by renowned artists such as Camille Walala, ROA, and Ben Eine. Through this workshop, your child will have the chance to explore a range of mediums and techniques. They will experiment with mono printing, sketching, graphics and collage. This workshop encourages children to think imaginatively, giving them the creative freedom to experiment, play and express their personal style and interests through their artwork.

2ND AUG - DRAW, CLAY, PAINT DAY

Drawing - Painting - Clay - Pastels - Charcoal - Still Life
Get ready for a day of artistic exploration and expression! The theme 'Beachlife' will inspire your child as they engage in various activities. They will get messy with clay, experiment with drawing textures, paint with found objects, and take part in still life painting inspired by artist Michael Craig Martin. Throughout the workshop, your child will have the freedom to express themselves, explore artistic mediums and create a collection of artworks, including clay sculptures, textured drawings and still life paintings.

Workshops are open to school aged children of all abilities and are differentiated accordingly.
There is limited availability for each session so book early to avoid disappointment.
